Teaching Philosophy

My main objective as an educator is to establish a favorable teaching environment to raise the level of competence in students, building transformative experiences with an emphasis on alternative practices that place students as the builders of their own knowledge, with critical capacity and research spirit. My teaching philosophy is based, mainly, on creating a teaching-learning process from a student-centered constructivist perspective. I believe that it is of utmost importance to contribute to the cognitive development of students by adopting the role of teacher facilitator of learning.
The implementation of didactic-pedagogical methodologies, consistent with the interests and expectations of students, favor the gradual construction of knowledge. This involves the dynamic interaction between instructors, students, and methodologies designed to promote the construction of knowledge.
